Kindness revisited

"My religion is kindness" -His Holiness The Dalai Lama

I love this line. It suggests that like any religion, kindness can be practised freely, spread openly, and be given to anyone and anything without prejudice or condition. It is not reserved for those in our inner circle or only those whom we think deserve it. Everyone, and everything is worthy of our kindness. In my case, I have observed, starting by being kind to myself, I am strongly moved to being kind to everyone and everything around me.
