Love, without questioning worthiness

 WOW, did this post ever come at an apt time. they past two days my ego and self-hate are telling me to do just to opposite. Judge and critic are in full performance making me feel bristly, hateful and insecure.

The lifelong process

This is a lifelong process. If you decide to learn to care for yourself, to live your life in compassion, you will be required to practice that until you die. Fall in love

We all need to fall in love with whom we are and how we look, no matter what our age or circumstance.

When we reach our 50's a new confidence kicks in. It's a cross between "I dont give a damn, and I care very deeply". "I dont give a damn" if someone doesnt like me or the way I think. And, "i care very deeply" about what's going on in the world and with others.

The topic of love is dear to my heart, especially at this snapshot of my life. I have been so fortunate to be loved by good and wonderful people. All my life, I have realized, I wanted only to be loved, and to be immersed in a wonderful love affair. However the one thing I never took the time to do was to learn how to love someone else back.

I am afraid, I now find myself very alone, with those whom loved me, estranged and distant from my indifference and lack of love inflicted upon them. This time my eyes and heart have been truly opened, and I am slowly learning to take care of myself and really love all those whom surround me.

While visiting Kelowna, I ran into a really neat used bookstore called "First try books". In there I found many treasure, one that i picked this quote from. Enjoy!

I learn..its God's loving way

Each time I feel like my life is going through the sewer, where I am being forced to adapt to situations that may have come out of the blue, or ones that humble me beyond my capacity, each time this has happened I get exasperated, throw my hands in the air and of course start praying hard. Most times I think "Why me"?

I only recently discovered this (once again for the 30th time in this life). Trials and tribulations come to me when I am furthest away from God, and these come to me to bring me closer to him, and to his love. This makes me smile, and trivializes everything that kept me awake. I am safe in his hands, its God's way that prevails.

Having FUN, letting it all go....

Today's inspiration is a comment as well.

Talking to good friends always inspires me, I learn something new and differnt each time. Sometimes I learn something over again, something that I had forgotten over time. For example, I recently realized "what it's all about", and again you may have differing opinions, and that ok.

I realized that in life there are 3 things that are #1, these are "Having FUN", "Genuinely LOVING" and "Being KIND at all times". So easily said, yet hard to achieve, it seems like instead of living in the world, we let the world live within us.

Is it possible to have fun, be loving and kind at all times? I am not sure, but I know that its my choice to find out! :-)
