"As we willingly enter each place of fear, each place of deficiency and insecurity in ourselves, we will discover that its walls are made of untruths, of old images of ourselves, of ancient fears, of false ideas of what is pure and what is not."- Jack Kornfield
Continuing from yesterday's thoughts on sitting with our desires and wants, experiencing them as they are, feeling every emotion and every thought that comes with every desire, rather than supressing them, or trying to manipulate or change things to make them happen; this above statement rings true.
When we go through our fears, sit with them, make them our own, we discover much more about the fear and ourselves. Sometimes stopping and sitting and being still takes us much further than action.
