Sister find yourself and sit down

My grandmother raised me and if ever I got a little uppity, she said, "Sister find yourself and sit down". If I was already sitting, I would get up and she would say, "Where are you going?" She meant find yourself inside yourself. Find yourself inside yourself and sit down.
